About this drive
Utah's Highway 12 is one of the most geologically astonishing roads in the United States, traversing 124 miles of canyon country between Panguitch and Torrey. The route climbs through Bryce Canyon's pink hoodoos, crosses the knife-edge ridge of the Hogsback with thousand-foot drop-offs on both sides, and descends into the surreal slickrock canyons of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It is one of only a handful of roads in the U.S. to hold the designation of All-American Road.
