About this drive

The Ring of Kerry is a 179-kilometre circular route around the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. Often called one of Europe's finest coastal drives, it weaves through a stunning tapestry of glacial lakes, Atlantic seascapes, purple heather moorlands, and charming villages such as Kenmare, Waterville, and Sneem. The drive passes through Killarney National Park, past medieval ruins and the iconic stone forts of the Skellig Ring, with the ancient Skellig Michael island rising dramatically from the sea offshore.
