The Furka Pass is one of Switzerland's most thrilling and iconic mountain roads, achieving worldwide fame when it featured in the James Bond film Goldfinger (1964). Climbing to 2,429 metres in the Swiss Alps between the cantons of Uri and Valais, the road winds past the stunning Rhone Glacier and offers breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks in every direction. The pass is part of the famous Three Passes Route along with the Grimsel and Susten passes, making for a full day of pure alpine driving perfection in the heart of Switzerland.
